Stopped by after seeing the Pompeii: The Exhibition at Graceland and was not disappointed! Scrumptious barbecue with all of the fixin's. Everything was fresh, tasty, and very flavorful. My husband and I both had the pork plate with rib tips and pulled pork, fried okra, potato salad, and a cold Corona on the side. Perfection!
We were passing through town and stopped at Pollard’s BBQ and got a rack of ribs smothered with mild delicious BBQ. Delicious!!!! Will do again.
Visiting Memphis and stopped by Pollards and what a great experience we had. The food was fresh and tasty and the best was the wonderful woman that helped us order. She made our experience so special and we would definitely come back again.
The second we walked in we were greeted by Denise at the front desk. Not knowing what we wanted to order she influenced us to have the dry rub ribs with the medium spiced sauce. Guys to say it was delicious was an understatement and Denise was so kind! Thank you Denise for the recommendation wish we had this (and your kindness) in Texas!
Literally hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life! The potato salad is to die for and then those baked beans omg best baked beans I’ve ever had! This food is made with love and the care and love by employees is very genuine. The sweet tea was a perfect amount of sweet that I could drink all day!! I would recommend for anyone if they’re hungry and want to taste real food!!
Super delicious BBQ and wonderful service. One of my favorite BBQ sauces I've had so far in Memphis. The pulled pork sandwich bun was toasted nicely with a generous portion of meat. French fries were lacking a smidge in salt, but salt was available on the table for those that like a salty fry. The sausage link sandwich is a homemade link and was quite good, definitely recommend for those that like sausage! Would love to come back soon and try more on the menu like the rib tips and some more sides.
Nothing like having BBQ after a Titans W leaving back to Texas. Unfortunately no food pictures...i was too hungry and as soon as the food arrived it started to disappear fast! Loved Pollards BBQ had the Ribs, Sausage (Red hot and smoked), Brisket, BBQ spaghetti, green beans, and beans. I generally don't like BBQ sauce on my BBQ just on the side but i picked the mixed and the Spice on the BBQ sauce made me change my stance. I will be back every visit to Tennessee!
Spoke to Tony Pollards aunt. We chopped it up talking football and football. Great environment and good food. It's a family restaurant. You could tell they source good pork.
